NOT ACCEPTING C2CCANDIDATES Description Position Title: Network Engineer Start Date: May 5 2025 Length of Contract: 6 months through EOY * Location: US* -Fremont, CA * Work Type- On-site 5 day a week Must-Have Skills:* - 2 years of Network Engineering Linux/Unix and Python experience - Basic knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage - Knowledge of computer software such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software The main function of a network engineer is to determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. A typical network engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades. The individual will be responsible for provisioning some data center network equipment. Candidate Value Proposition: The ideal candidate will be able to understand and execute Python scripts and have a background in network engineering devices. Playbooks, runbooks, wikis, and documentation will support the individual in being successful in their role while working alongside an engineer. This is a great opportunity to land in the middle of network engineering. * Role Responsibilities* - Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands - Communicate with customers' sales staff or marketing staff to determine customer needs - Coordinate network operations maintenance repairs or upgrades - Design-build or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware software servers or server operation systems - Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms interface bandwidths or routine schemas - Develop and implement solutions for network problems Performance Measurement: Performance will be measured on the execution of assigned tasks.
