We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives. And we are responsible for the implementation and sustainment of the Army's General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) within DHA's Military Health System (MHS).#MC



Responsibilities

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team in supporting the Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) Special Support Operations (SSO) DAR team.

The successful candidate will assist with SSO-DAR's effort of rebuilding GFEBS-BI BW data models in a Databrick Lakehouse environment (ARES) by extracting raw SAP ECC data (GFEBS-ECC).

Your day-to-day work will include:

    ETL/ELT Development - designing and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale DOD data processing.
  • Databricks Lakehouse Architecture - designing and implementing optimized data pipelines to store SAP data in Delta Lake.
  • Performance Optimization - tuning Databricks jobs, and SAP ECC extractions for efficiency and scalability.
  • Stakeholder collaboration - collaborating with data teams, developers, data engineers, and business analysts to align with migration strategy and mission goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, STEM or Data Science is preferred
  • 10-15 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC tables for establishing data pipeline to Databricks Lakehouse using SLT- (SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server) or JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) and rebuilding legacy data models in Databricks Lakehouse
  • Working Knowledge of SAP ECC
  • LLM Expertise - Databricks, Pyspark, SQL, iQuery
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal with various levels of stakeholders (interactions with senior stakeholders)
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a team player
  • The ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders across business and systems groups during the execution of a complex data & analytics solution development effort
  • An active SECRET Level Security Clearance and the ability to maintain it
