Service Engineer, Adobe Firefly Services
Adobe Firefly's Generative AI Services team is looking for a Senior Infrastructure/Service Engineer to join our GenAI Services team. In this impactful role, you will collaborate with a talented team of engineers to build scalable, high-performance generative AI systems that power features across Adobe products such as Firefly, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Stock, and Premiere.As part of this team, you will work closely with both Service and ML engineers to design and develop efficient inference pipelines, optimizing system performance (latency, throughput, memory usage, etc.). You will build and integrate APIs around generative models, both first-party and third-party, into Adobe's suite of products that serve individual and enterprise customers. You will take on Adobe's most complex engineering challenges at the forefront of the AI industry, drive technical direction, and mentor other engineers in the team. Job Responsibilities
  • Design and development of core GenAI services and APIs that integrate a wide range of generative models into Adobe's flagship products.
  • Collaborate with Adobe Research and other model developer teams with a focus on performance at model inference time
  • Build and optimize GPU-accelerated pipelines for customized model training and inference, prioritizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field-or equivalent industry experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in machine learning, including production-scale deployments.
  • 2+ years of experience working on large-scale, GPU-intensive GenAI systems (training, inference, and optimization).
  • Experience with GenAI frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, CUDA, Triton, TensorRT, Nvidia Dynamo, and Python.
  • Deep infrastructure and systems hands-on experience for performane-tuning of genenerative model inference workflows
  • Good communication and collaboration skills working with other infrastructure and ML engineers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with model serving, inference, orchestration, and GPU resource management in large-scale environments.
  • Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, distributed systems, and MLOps platforms.

The U.S. pay range for this positionis $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
