The Director of Sales Strategy will be dedicated to simplifying the selling process for our prospective clients and our sales executives. It will develop content and work hand in hand with our sellers to ensure that they can efficiently and strategically utilize all of the resources provided to them to provide custom solutions for our prospective customers. This role will be integral role in helping our sales teams better understand and win opportunities through historical, financial, and market analyses. They will be a resource to ensure that our sales strategy solves client needs and helps create winning solutions. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who empathizes with the end-user experience and consistently seeks ways to enhance the buying experience. You bring a people-first mentality with expert knowledge of facilitation skills. Simply put, consider the challenge and opportunity of this role: Qualifications * Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company goals. * Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with C-level executives and other stakeholders. * Problem-Solving: Ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions to improve sales performance. * Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to recommend product or service enhancements. * Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives * Collaborate with other departments: Collaborative-first mindset with sales and sales support senior leadership team (peer group), operating partners, and sector marketing teams. * Adaptable: Ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs of a high-growth sales team. * Self Starter & Strategic Thinker What you'll do in this role: - Work with Sales Executives to develop winning strategies & provide bid support - Ensure that we are 'telling our story' to help prospective customers see how we can solve their problems - Work with various departments to support the development of market fit and opportunity prioritization - Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and meet client needs - Be a resource to sales leadership for ad-hoc projects/needs - Translator of business objectives/data capabilities - able to explain complex business objectives to multiple partners with various levels of data expertise - Continuously review insights to provide direction to marketing/sales regarding 'next best action' - Help create winning customized proposals & presentations. This position will: * Increase win rates for forecast deals. * Increase new account acquisition. * Increase existing account penetration. * Improve customer experience * Increase available selling time. * Reduce sales cycle length. * Increase average deal size. * Reduce sales force turnover. * Reduce the cost of sales. Requirements: - Previous work in sales/sales support role preferred - Proficiency in Excel, advanced preferred - Previous experience with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Apply to CCL today!
