We are a remote-first healthcare and technology company, seeking an experienced engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Platform Engineering team, you will play a role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems and infrastructure necessary to support Omada's mission. The Platform Engineering team is responsible for both the operational integrity of our infrastructure, as well as DevOps processes which help other engineers get more done with less pain.

Your impact:



  • You will be part of the development and operation of Omada's digital health program infrastructure.
  • You will play a key role building and scaling our platform one piece at a time, supporting our ability to deliver a personalized experience to program participants, and empowering our health coaches to deliver timely and effective interventions
  • You will work closely (including pair programming) with the rest of the Platform team, collaborating frequently with internal customers from our product engineering teams, InfoSec, IT, and beyond
  • You will build cross-functional relationships with software engineers, data scientists, and technical program managers to understand their needs, and to deliver solutions addressing those needs.
  • You will manage high availability services in our EKS clusters, with a thoughtful approach to designing redundancy and disaster recovery readiness.
  • You will work with developers to design and improve developer tooling and capability, such as secrets management with Vault, or cloud development environments.
  • You will maintain and enhance our Gitlab CI/CD infrastructure.
  • You will mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.

Requirements for this role:



  • 5+ years of working experience designing and building diverse AWS cloud architectures
  • Experience building and operating a Kubernetes cluster
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience working with Datadog application performance monitoring, custom metrics, and logs
  • Comfortable managing, configuring, and troubleshooting persistent virtual Linux hosts and volumes
  • Skilled at building, deploying, and orchestrating Docker images and containers.
  • Great communication skills - both written and verbal. Skilled at writing documentation for others.
  • Readiness to run towards fires as part of an on-call rotation.

  • Experience writing Golang
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry

Below is a summary of salary ranges for this role in the following geographies:

California, New York State and Washington State Base Compensation Ranges: $179,400 - $224,300*, Colorado Base Compensation Ranges: $171,600 - $214,500*. Other states may vary.

This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus and stock options.

*The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
