Job Description Responsible for receiving, resolving, escalating, and monitoring customer issues/requests. The Help Desk Technician works in a high-volume environment and provides immediate assistance and problem resolution, whenever possible, for service inquiries by phone. They troubleshoot and analyze all OSUMC computer systems applications, telephony and paging systems, personal computers and peripherals. Critical tasks performed by this area also includes communicating, tracking and reporting computing environment outages. Help Desk Technicians must have a broad understanding of enterprise IT systems, a deep understanding of personal computers and applications, and excellent customer service skills.
