Overview: The Senior Video Production Specialist plays a critical role in bringing the Inovalon brand to life through compelling video content. This role is responsible for producing high-quality video assets that enhance brand awareness, engage audiences, and support marketing and sales initiatives, and actively manages video projects from concept to completion-demonstrating initiative, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership. The Senior Video Production Specialist proactively identifies potential challenges, proposes creative solutions, and ensures all projects meet the highest quality standards and deadlines.

From short-form social media videos to in-depth product demos and educational content, this role requires the ability to translate strategic objectives into visually impactful storytelling while collaborating across departments to maintain consistency in messaging, branding, and production quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Own the entire video production lifecycle, including pre-production (concept development, storyboarding), production (shooting, lighting, sound), and post-production (editing, motion graphics, color grading).
  • Develop and execute engaging video content for Inovalon's website, social media, marketing campaigns, and internal initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all video assets, aligning with Inovalon's messaging and visual identity.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders-including marketing, product, and sales teams-to align video content with strategic objectives.
  • Shoot high-quality footage using professional camera equipment, ensuring proper lighting, sound quality, and framing.
  • Edit videos with precision, integrating graphics, animations, voiceovers, and music to enhance storytelling.
  • Optimize videos for different platforms, considering aspect ratios, resolution, and audience engagement best practices.
  • Stay up to date with video marketing trends, emerging production techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high production quality.
  • Provide creative direction and best practices for video storytelling, collaborating with teams to refine messaging.
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company.


Job Requirements:



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in video production, editing, and storytelling, preferably within a marketing or creative team.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, including Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite video editing software, AfterEffects, and AVID.
  • Strong technical knowledge of video production equipment including cameras, lighting, and sound recording.
  • Experience with motion graphics, color grading, and sound design.
  • Excellent storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for detail and composition.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple video projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback.
  • Creative problem-solver who can troubleshoot technical challenges and execute solutions.
  • A deep understanding of video content trends and best practices for web, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multi-functional departments and teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with shifting priorities.
  • Interest and willingness to be a team player and assist with overall marketing needs and projects.
  • Experience in a B2B environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Skills in WordPress, HTML and Adobe Creative Suite are a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, but not required.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented skill set.
  • Inovalon to be flexible and work under changing priorities.


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; OR
  • Equivalent professional experience in video production, editing, and storytelling.


  • Additional certifications or coursework in video production, cinematography, motion graphics, or post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, AfterEffects, DaVinci Resolve) preferred.
  • Training in digital marketing, content strategy, or brand storytelling preferred.


Physical Demands and Work Environment:



  • Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time).
  • May require occasional lifting of equipment up to 25 lb.
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions.
  • Travel for on-site video shoots may be required (less than 10%).

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$76,800 $80,000 USD
