Job Summary:
The UW-Madison Arboretum is a complex research center of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. It is also a managed urban natural area and a popular public destination with multiple mission focus areas, heavy visitor and recreational use, youth and adult education programs, volunteer and outreach engagement, and robust public and private events programs. The mission of the Arboretum is to conserve and restore Arboretum lands, advance restoration ecology, and foster the land ethic. Responsibilities: Assists with facility and equipment inspection, maintenance, and repairs to ensure property meets established standards and to prevent further damage. Assists with construction, and meeting and event preparation as needed.
