Relationship Manager IV - Energy

We are hiring a Commercial Relationship Manager for our Energy division. This role offers you the latitude to do your job, build long-term relationships with clients, bring in new business, and collaborate across the organization to achieve more together. We have been in the energy business for over 100 years, and we operate a playbook that works with first lien and senior secured E&P lending. We take a strategic approach to our portfolio and work with well-managed midstream and upstream organizations across the US. Our experienced energy-lending team includes analysts, derivative consultants and one of the largest in-house petroleum engineering groups in the industry.

The Commercial Relationship Manager IV - Energy is primarily responsible for making and servicing business and individual loans that involve significant amounts of both secured and unsecured funds and/or credit secured, which are the most complex in nature. Handles the largest, most profitable customer relationships within the dept. Provides subordinate officers with functional guidance.

With offices in Denver, Oklahoma City, Houston, and Dallas, you'll work with a wide variety of teams, individuals, and professional experts on every transaction and deal. The deals we broker have a long sales cycle, so we consider this vital work to be a marathon, not a sprint.

• You'll use your business savvy to identify new prospects/markets and develop new business.
• You'll use product/service knowledge to determine what our clients need to enhance their business and ours.
• Your financial acumen and analytical skills to understand data to make informed decisions
• You will use your expertise on the lending side to structure loans, mitigate and identify risk, and keep us in regulatory compliance.
• You will use your business and credit acumen to get deals approved

Required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related degree and 8 - 10 years' experience in a commercial lending environment or 14-16 years' equivalent experience.
