Responsible for enhancing nursing practice standards and promoting professional development within our hospital through developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing practice standards and protocols. This role will focus on our New Graduate RN Residency program as well as Nursing Orientation. Education Associate's Degree Nursing required Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred Master's Degree Nursing preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts] Basic Life Support certification required Experience Nursing experience 5-7 years required and Specialized clinical experience 3-5 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of evidence-based practice, quality improvement methodologies, and healthcare regulations Extensive clinical experience with a focus on a specialized area within the hospital (e.g., critical care, oncology, etc.) Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills Strong communication skills both written and oral.
