Continuous Improvement Coord Location(s): Minneapolis, MN, US, 55430 Function: Manufacturing Audience: Experienced Professional Work Arrangement: On Site Requisition ID: 64549 Job Title: Continuous Improvement Coordinator Department: Operations Reports to: Site Leader Supervises: N/A FLSA Status: Nonexempt Date: 4/3/2025 SUMMARY The CI Coordinator position works in partnership with the plant leadership, TPM Coordinator, and TPM pillar teams to develop and execute strong FI processes and practices that drive business results. The position is responsible for driving focused improvement initiatives and integrating FI into the Minneapolis culture with a goal of achieving zero losses. This is accomplished by generating a high level of employee engagement and utilizing various FI problem solving tools. This position assists with educating employees and leadership on the importance of their engagement toward expanding focused improvement efforts and sharing best practices. This includes leading improvement projects, participating in the execution of training plans for employees and assisting in training on focused improvement efforts. Measures of Success:

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES A strong candidate must be able to: * Operate a computer and other keyboard instruments * Become proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and other job-related software, such as SAP, POP AspenTech, and Minitab EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE * High School Diploma or equivalent * 2+ years related experience and/or training in an industrial environment, preferably in roofing manufacturing * 2-year degree or higher is preferred * Formal training in Lean/Six Sigma is preferred ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT A strong candidate should possess the ability to: * Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs without assistance * Ability to routinely lift up to 80 lbs with assistance * Work for up to 12 hours in extreme hot/cold manufacturing environment * Operate/sit/drive, as required during shift work lasting 12 hours. * Routinely ascend and descend stairs and forklift to enter work areas * Safeguard self with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - steel toed shoes, ear plugs, eye protection (glasses, goggles, and/or facemask) as necessary for task * Push/drive floor sweeping and cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties * Schedule flexibility as needed to accommodate operation needs It is a requirement to be a U.S. citizen OR have valid proof of authorization to work in the United States.
