Position Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Finance Co-Pilot-Operations provides accurate and timely financial information and analyses for operational expenses to drive profitable growth. This role supports the Finance Manager for Garden of Life & Solgar brands and is responsible for planning, analyzing, and reporting on volume, mix, and rate changes. Other tasks include tracking actual results, explaining variances, special project tracking, preparing business model financials, monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, and handling special assignments/audits as needed.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida ; Bridgewater , NJ/ Tri-State area ; Chicago, Illinois; and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare period-end close reports and dynamic forecasts for review with copilot
  • Analyze and report on volume, mix, and rate changes, providing explanations for variances between actual results and forecasts
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations for relevant balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare financials in support of product innovation and sourcing
  • Track special projects related to financial budget setup and spend tracking

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting , or similar with MBA a plus!
  • 3+ years' experience in Finance Management &/or Accounting
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Manufacturing and Costing Background
  • Experience using Oracle & SAP systems
  • Intermediate to advanced financial modeling skills
  • Understanding of cost accounting and activity-based costing
  • Background in consumer products, manufacturing environment a plus

The approximate pay range for this position is $87,000- $105,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
