Effective People is seeking US-based Project Manager to lead all aspects of Learning Management (LMS) projects regarding the implementation and/or upgrades at the direction of the Effective People project management team and in collaboration with the client, interfacing with the client, project team members, and senior management to meet both clients and company expectations. Role and Responsibilities: Operational *Capable of wearing multiple hats simultaneously (i.e., strategic, and operational) *Gather business requirements, create/maintain requirements workbooks (and related documents), working with Effective People and client teams throughout the project life cycle. *Ability to identify and deploy processes, systems, execution, documentation, and other improvements. *Ability to collaborate with and solicit (open to) input from senior leadership, peers, directs, external partners, and customers. *Perform system configuration, testing, and deployment. Project Accountability *Serve as the primary support person to the project manager, by overseeing administrative tasks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring resources are available for the project team. *Monitory daily project activities to ensure that all tasks stay on schedule *Provide updates to the project manager(s) and stakeholders. *Ensure all contract activities align with and meet/exceed client expectations, meet budgeted financial objectives tied to each contract, and ensure all contract deliverables are fulfilled *Track project costs to budget, project progress to schedule, and prepare cost-to-complete reports *Obtain required approvals for documentation, stage gates, etc. (e.g. requirements, workbooks, testing results, etc.) Project Execution *Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare/deliver project progress reports *Conduct project meetings and act as project information source *Monitor project deliverables to ensure quality is maintained *Perform final review of all deliverables. *Ensure that all project deliverables are on time and within budget *Identify, document and track project risks in a risk repository *Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and project forecasts for resource planning *Manage project scope and change management activities Project/Client Communication *Lead client communications and engagement with client leadership *Establish a trusted partner relationship with client project stakeholders *Serve as the primary client interface for project schedule, budget, and scope *Maintain routine communications with management concerning all aspects of the project *Support the development of proposals by providing estimates for support activities *Identify and generate organic growth opportunities with the client Resource Management *Coordinate and lead the staff assigned to the project, i.e. the project team, ensuring that they have the necessary supplies and resources to complete tasks within budget limits. *Maintain a positive, collaborative working environment with the project team *Coach, counsel, and mentor project team members on project-related activities *Identify and help determine resources needed on potential projects) Requirements
Required: *Knowledge of technical data processing procedures, policies, and best practices *Ability to communicate with management, team members and customers concisely and confidently, both verbal and written. *Ability to work both independently and within a team environment *Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving, fast-paced environment *Ability to work closely with multiple internal/external organizations and multiple client projects. *Ability to multitask while managing multiple technical projects, oversee daily project operations, and support other projects in a contributor role *Willing to become certified in SAP SuccessFactors modules. *Willing to remain current with Human Capital Management (HCM technologies. *Ability to elicit and document business requirements. *Ability and desire to learn and share knowledge with customers and mentor the project team. *US Citizen or Green Card *Able to pass background checks and public trust clearance if/when needed for assignments. *Up to 25% travel may be required. Plus: *Project Management Professional (PMP) certification *Knowledge of technical data processing procedures, integrations, etc. *SAP HCM On Premise or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) experience. *Experience configuring, implementing, or supporting additional SuccessFactors modules. *Experience working in HR and consulting with SAP SuccessFactors implementations. *Certification in Manage Recruiting Candidate Experience (CRM, Talent Pools, CSB, RMK) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS General physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job may vary based on location of assignment.
