Description
The Sr HR Generalist is a business partner working with both the Corporate and Field HR teams to support multiple business units and functions. This position will provide support through the complete employee life cycle to fulfil the people requirements of the organization and provides HR generalist support to the U.S. HR Function.

Job Details

Role Specific Responsibilities:
  • Support the full employee life cycle -
    • Assist with recruitment and selection
    • Assist with administrative aspects of performance management
    • Ownership of onboarding process
    • Partner with HRMs for off-boarding process

  • Maintain the HRIS system for all employees including new hire and change in status information
  • Perform HRIS system audits on a regular cadence to ensure data integrity
  • Support project work at a Corporate, Regional, and Local level
  • Partners with Corporate and Field HRMs to ensure compliance with appropriate national and local employment laws and regulations, in accordance with maintaining all applicable governance
  • Provide transactional support for employees and organizational changes
  • Organizes and leads the onboarding process for all new employees in the U.S.
  • Support recruitment activities as needed in partnership with both Corporate and Field HRMs
    • Screening resumes, dispositioning candidates in recruitment system, scheduling interviews, etc.

  • Maintain complete and accurate records and files including electronic personnel files for all U.S. employees
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors/suppliers as needed
  • Support Communications & Engagement for both Corporate and Field
  • To undertake other duties as assigned

  • Complies with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and arrangements
  • Reports all Health, Safety and Environmental accidents, incidents and near misses promptly
  • Acts in a safe and responsible manner at all times

  • Participates in problem-solving
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for own learning and development in the spirit of continuous improvement of both self and the business
  • Assists in the training, mentoring, and assessment of other team members

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or recognized equivalent
  • 5 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships at all levels of the organization, influencing, and working with leaders
  • Knowledge of Employee Relations, Employment Law
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex own style as needed to influence and drive results
  • Ability to work within a multi-functional, global organizational structure and exhibits robust interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills and analytical abilities which allow assessments of situations and opportunities
  • Excellent IT skills, good working knowledge of HRIS and proficiency in Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
  • Ability to work in 'the grey' and be self-directed, and can navigate through change/uncertainty without losing sight of achieving success
