Description

Starting Salary Range: $191,000 - $215,000 - position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

As a strategic leader, your ability to negotiate internally and externally, implement impactful reforms, and strengthen RA strategies will be essential to shaping the future of energy reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead Resource Adequacy Operations: Oversee the preparation and execution of the annual Planning Resource Auction.
  • Ensure System Reliability: Conduct ongoing risk assessments to mitigate potential challenges.
  • Drive Resource Adequacy Reforms:


    • Enhance business processes.
    • Upgrade internal and customer-facing information systems.
    • Partner with design, legal, and systems teams for seamless implementation.


  • Facilitate Industry Collaboration:


    • Lead or co-lead MISO's external-facing Resource Adequacy Subcommittee.
    • Develop materials and coordinate the annual management plan.
    • Engage with stakeholders to promote successful collaboration.

Education
Bachelors of Economics (required)
Bachelors of Engineering (required)
Experience
Experience in budgeting and financial forecasting. (required)
Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences, including:
oLeading stakeholder meetings.
oResolving individual stakeholder concerns.
oCollaborating with cross-functional teams.
oEngaging with senior leadership.

Strong understanding of NERC and FERC regulatory compliance requirements. (required)
8 years: Experience managing and leading people. (required)
15 years: Relevant work experience within industry. (required)
