Summary of Job Description:

The L&D Curriculum Development Administrator position is responsible for working with Subject Matter Experts on creating instructional materials and course design and on enhancing existing courses based on feedback from participants.This position also oversees University of Panda course administration, oversees production of virtual classes, and co-facilitates small group training sessions.

You'll get a chance to:

  • Works with Curriculum Developers and Subject Matter Experts (SME's) on developing instructional materials and course design. Works on enhancing existing courses based on feedback from participants. Supports the creation of supplemental training materials.
  • Oversees UOP course administration, including selection and assignment of facilitators to conduct training and coordination of scheduling virtual classes and SME dry runs. Offers feedback, training, and support to SMEs on content delivery.
  • Assists with conducting focus group and needs analysis, and the development and assessment learning item.
  • Co-facilitates training sessions for In-Person and GO Class as needed. Supports breakout room and small group activities for virtual and Instructor-led classes.
  • Assists in creating, modifying, and enhancing job aids, participant guides, pre and post work assignments, and course activities using Adobe InDesign and Articulate Rise.
  • Assists in creating and updating documents for accreditation, such as Learning Design Document, and Catalogs to match GO Class content.

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in learning and development and/or Operations, preferably in a retail/hospitality operations environment
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2: $72,500- $101,500 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
