Description

Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Provides overall leadership and management of natural gas operations within the district. Manages all functions of a district including customer growth activities, construction and/or service departments and operational support and warehousing personnel. Responsible to achieve company and regional goals and objectives within the district.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must possess knowledge of energy operations at a level normally acquired through a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project or business management, or related field or applicable work experience; and
  • Seven years of progressively responsible experience in the energy industry including electric and/or natural gas utility operations, customer service, and employee relations; and
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS


  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Requires travel: Minimal (up to 10%).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Prior gas and/or electric utility supervisory experience.

  • Manages District staff to maximize productivity and teamwork, which includes providing work direction and resources, managing performance, employee training and development, administering company policies and labor agreements, and leading improvement efforts.

  • Ensures all company and regional policies, procedures, practices, guidelines and directives; and governmental requirements are consistently applied within the district.
  • Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
