• Provides care management services on site to clients.
• Monitors and documents case activities in a timely manner.
• Reviews medical aspects of claims, and on basis of review, uses judgment and discretion to recommend diagnostic procedures, testing, and second opinions.
• Uses expertise and judgment in working with and advising insurance providers, employers, and clients to ensure creation, implementation, and completion of a successful treatment plan.
• Travels for in-person consultation on the progress of the treatment and makes necessary adjustments to it to maximize the potential for a successful outcome.
• RN license and three years' experience.

In specific business units, employees are required to drive a personal vehicle for business purposes as determined by management.

• A degree from an institution that is fully accredited by a nationally recognized educational accreditation organization.
• A current, unrestricted license or certification to practice a health or human services discipline in a state or territory of the United States that allows the health professional to independently conduct an assessment as permitted within the scope of practice of the discipline; or in the case of an individual in a state that does not require licensure or certification, the individual must have a baccalaureate or graduate degree in social work, or another health or human services field that promotes the physical, psychosocial, and/or vocational well-being of the persons being served, that requires:
  • The individual must have completed a supervised field experience, in case management, health, or behavioral health as part of the degree requirements; and
  • URAC-recognized certification in case management within four (4) years of hire as a case manager
• As required, any State license/certification requirements to perform the job beyond the "standard" qualifications.
