Our Internship Program

Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. We offer a fast-paced, flexible, fun environment where you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and face new challenges every day.

Location Our program is fully virtual. Interns must remain in the US for the duration of the internship.

What You'll Do

Our team is a blend of data science and analytical engineering, and in this role, you'll collaborate closely with the analytics engineer. As a data scientist, you will work on in-database analytics functions, ensuring high accuracy, efficient workload management, and supporting proof-of-concept (POC) use cases. Meanwhile, you will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to create solutions and develop scalable models that integrate into Teradata's analytics platform. This position will play a key role in shaping the future of AI-driven applications, such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), recommendation systems, and multimodal solutions across diverse enterprise use cases.

Who You'll Work With

We are a market leader and innovator in cloud analytics and data platforms for AI, specializing in the management of structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data. Our team delivers analytic insights to enterprises through powerful products such as the massively parallel, linearly scalable Teradata Database and best-in-class, high-performance in-database analytics. Our Gen AI product, Vector Store, serves as the backbone for applications like RAG and recommendation systems. This role reports directly to the manager of the ClearScape Analytics team, the core AI product group.

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

• Must be enrolled in BS/MS/PhD Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical degree program, with a graduation date between December 2025-June 2027.
• PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with focus on GenAI, RAG, vector database, and AI Agents.
• Experience programming in Python, SQL, or related languages.
• Experience in information retrieval or Text summarization, Experience in NLP (Natural Language Processing), RAG and Large Language Model (LLM)

What You'll Bring

• Experience with training, evaluating, or interpreting large language models or multimodal models.
• Experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

Pay Rate: $29.00 - $44.00 - $50.00 Hourly
