Director, Nursing (Mother Baby)

The Director of Nursing is a dynamic nurse leader responsible for overseeing the operations, programs, and services of one or more hospital units within areas such as Critical Care, Emergency Services, Maternal and Child Care, Medical/Surgical, or Ambulatory Care. This role provides 24/7 accountability and leadership, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

The Director will lead with vision and collaboration, driving excellence in nursing practice and patient outcomes through:

• Talent Leadership- guiding recruitment, retention, onboarding, and professional development for unit staff.

• Performance Management- conducting evaluations, providing competency feedback, and fostering growth at all levels.

• Operational Oversight- developing, implementing, and managing departmental budgets, resources, and staffing.

• Quality & Patient Care Excellence- promoting evidence-based practice, culturally sensitive care, and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

• Strategic Collaboration- partnering with hospital leadership, medical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to shape patient care programs, policies, and initiatives.
