About the role

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the maintenance / repair of electrical / mechanical equipment and various elements of the building systems and infrastructure as directed by the Sr. Facilities Manager.

• Ability to analyze, diagnose, evaluate and recommend / perform repairs to building components & equipment
• Provide a safe and secure working environment for our teammates
• Prevent / Minimize any facilities related disruptions / inconveniences to the operation of the business units / building infrastructure
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance to equipment, systems and building components

What we're looking for

• Minimum high school graduate or general education degree (GED), trade school graduate preferred plus three to five years "hands on" experience in a commercial facility / physical plant operations.
• Certification or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in the Facilities, Engineering, Architectural disciplines a plus.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction documents, technical procedures, or building code regulations.
• Ability to create and implement basic time / action plans.
