The Product Steward serves as a vital link between Eastman's Specialty Plastics Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and the global Product Stewardship & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) organization. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with Product, Marketing, and Technology teams, providing regulatory support, insights, and recommendations. A thorough understanding of market segments and Eastman's products is essential to secure registrations, certifications, and regulatory clearances for market access. Responsibilities: * Business Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with SBU representatives and maintain clear communication with Product, Marketing, and Technology Managers to document PSRA objectives and strategies aligned with SBU goals. Proactively communicate regulatory risks and opportunities. * Project Management and Execution: Oversee global registrations and regulatory clearances by working with SBU teams and regulatory experts. Responsibilities include supporting project portfolios, ensuring regulatory considerations are addressed, and updating project progress. * Customer Communication: Manage external communication regarding regulatory topics by responding to customer inquiries about product safety, developing communication strategies for regulatory changes, and representing Eastman in discussions with customers and regulatory authorities. * Advocacy: Support strategies to protect existing products and market access in response to legislative changes.
