Summary:

In this role, you will support our transition from product-centric development to platform-based solutions. You will play a key role in shaping our platform strategy, ensuring it aligns with the needs of diverse product teams and fosters stakeholder collaboration. You will leverage strong problem-solving skills, the ability to translate vision into scalable solutions, and a deep understanding of platform capabilities to drive efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to translate the overall platform vision into actionable plans, ensuring that platform capabilities align with strategy of the business.
  • Collaborate with architecture teams to shift focus from one-off product features to platform components that can be reused across multiple products.
  • Ensure that platform components are scalable and adaptable to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Work closely with product teams and user groups to gather and synthesize their diverse needs.
  • Identify core capabilities the platform must provide to meet various needs, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and adaptability across various use cases.
  • Act as the liaison between technical teams including engineering and architecture and non-technical stakeholders including product marketing, product managers, and product owners.
  • Ensure that all parties clearly understand how the platform will support product development and end-user experiences.
  • Act as the primary data expert within the platform ecosystem, with a deep understanding of domain-specific data and its flow across systems and the platform.
  • Utilize strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative abilities to address challenges and drive platform improvements.
  • Create and maintain detailed capability maps to illustrate the platform's offerings, potential, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Design and manage Solution Logical Architecture Model (SLAM) diagrams to represent and track the relationships between domain and platform ecosystems.
  • Facilitate training sessions and create documentation to enable teams to effectively leverage platform capabilities, promoting self-service and maximizing platform adoption.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams by aligning platform features with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) needs, including data processing and scalable models.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL highly preferred.
  • Experience working with technical and non-technical teams, bridging gaps, and driving alignment across organizational levels highly preferred.
  • Experience understanding scalable and modular platform architecture, focusing on reusable components preferred.
  • Proficient in utilizing analytics tools and frameworks to assess and enhance performance preferred.
  • Ability to meet rigorous deadlines, balance multiple priorities and achieve high levels of productivity while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Healthcare-related business experience is a plus.
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
  • Experience with data management in a business-critical database is strongly preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
