The Director, Field Operations Standards is responsible for aligning and overseeing the operational standards of the National Field Operations team. This role contributes to the development, standardization, and implementation of company policies and processes. The Senior Director will drive transformational change and execute strategies to deliver best in class business results. The focus is on improving efficiency, quality standards, securing competitive advantage, and differentiating the company in the market from a customer first perspective. A deep understanding of technical and operational matters within the Broadband industry is crucial for resolving complex issues.

Collaboration across departments is essential to ensure clear communication on initiatives, process changes, and any other matters impacting customers and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with Management Area teams through travel, meetings, and various communication channels to ensure alignment and progress across field operations.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on the development and execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and evolving industry trends.
  • Leverage technical expertise in Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks, telecommunications infrastructure, and associated technologies to assess operational performance and develop action plans to ensure daily operational excellence.
  • Drive the establishment and enforcement of standards for third-party vendor relationships, including resource allocation, statement of work issuance, ongoing performance monitoring, and adherence to industry-specific expectations for FTTH and telecommunications.
  • Oversee training programs and performance monitoring standards for Field Operations technical staff, ensuring optimal execution of installation and maintenance activities by employee technician groups and subcontractors, with strict adherence to company standards, efficiency, and quality benchmarks specific to FTTH and broadband technologies.
  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in telecommunications, and related technologies, applying cutting-edge knowledge to improve operational capabilities and service delivery.
  • Approve key policies, procedures, and technical standards, ensuring they meet the rigorous demands of the telecommunications landscape.
  • Actively participate in the Net Promoter System, integrating employee and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in both operational and technological initiatives
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 10 years' related experience, including at least 5 years' managerial experience.

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $91,766 - $138,960
