The Leadership & Organizational Development Partner develops continuous, multimodal offerings to foster Empath leadership competencies and strengthen enterprise-wide capacity in communications, organizational culture, program management, people management and change management. This role identifies and refines organizational development solutions and tools (needs assessments, stakeholder analysis, communication planning, change management methodologies, etc.). The facilitator partners with leaders and senior management in assessing leadership and organizational development needs, and tailoring development offerings and solutions to meet those needs. Through all these efforts, this role aims to strengthen a culture of lifelong learning at Empath.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university required; Master's degree preferred
  • At least two (2) years experience in educational professional program development, including proficiency in needs assessment, curriculum design, planning, implementation and outcome evaluation, and virtual training preferred
  • An equivalent combination of professional experience and education may be considered as meeting the Education/Professional requirements

Knowledge:

  • Talent processes (e.g. performance management, succession management, career management)
  • Development solutions (e.g., coaching, development plan creation, competency design, development program design)
  • Strategic internal change communications
  • Principles of organizational development & organizational effectiveness

Skills and Competencies:

  • Advanced instructional design and curriculum development skills
  • Advanced teaching and facilitation skills
  • Advanced skills in coaching and consulting with organizational leaders
  • Adapt to and lead organizational change
  • Manage medium to large projects independently while balancing daily required tasks
  • Deal with ambiguity and create process and structure where it does not currently exist
  • Partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives
  • Work professionally with sensitive information and maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to remain calm and professional in stressful or rapidly changing situations.
  • Intermediate or Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work environment with occasional travel to organizational locations.
  • May require extended hours during program launches or critical initiatives.
  • Employee must sign a Business Protection Agreement.
  • Must have reliable transportation which will enable them to perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and appropriate fashion. Must be able to provide proof of automobile insurance, a copy of which will be placed in their employee file.
