Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Manager, Product Quality Engineering, based out of Billerica, MA. Rapiscan is a leading supplier of end-to-end security inspection solutions, utilizing multiple technologies and advanced threat identification algorithms based on X-ray and high-speed computed tomography imaging, ion mobility spectrometry, radiation detection, and optical inspection technologies. We have highly experienced technical, program management, and service teams to ensure customers receive a best-in-class experience throughout every phase of their project-from planning to deployment to post-installation support. The Product Quality Engineering Manager reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Quality and will be responsible for product quality engineering/final product quality assurance activities of Rapiscan X-Ray, Radiation Detection and Trace products. This role includes both responsibility for Product Quality and Improvement of Production (and related) Processes. Daily activities include the interpretation and implementation of quality standards to routine manufacturing, continuous improvement, and product release activities. Lead and supervise the daily activities of Final Product Inspectors and Incoming Inspectors. Provide technical support to improve product quality. Pursue the development and use of quality metrics and processes to improve how we measure quality and the quality of the products we produce. This position will focus on product quality and quality improvement through a combination of technical skills (data analysis, investigation, and others) and leadership skills (change management, issue resolution, etc). This person will be responsible for driving the non-conforming material process through coordination with Production Support Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineers.
