Work Schedule:

100% FTE, 40 hours/week. 8 or 10-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to:



  • Provide treatment for hand and upper extremity patients of all ages and guide them through individualized rehabilitation programs.
  • Efficiently communicate with hand surgeons (both plastic and orthopedic), hand fellowship trained physician referral sources, and other UW Health departments for care coordination and collaboration.
  • Work within a large, dynamic rehab team to continually provide exceptional patient and family centered care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree /Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
  • Master's Degree in OT or Doctorate Degree in PT Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3 years of professional experience in therapy area of specialty Required
  • 5 years of Hand and Upper Extremity experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) from Hand Therapy Certification Commission Required
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Required
  • BLS/CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator Certification Required
