About this role:
The Conference Attendee Sales (CAS) Sales Enablement Specialist will have responsibility for global execution of conference specific sales enablement initiatives that drive sales readiness and efficiencies. This includes supporting the evolution of the sales readiness strategy and assets, and the development of new enablement assets. Our goal is to deliver globally consistent content, tools, briefings, and processes that increase the sales reps' (called Conferences Sales Executive's or CSEs) readiness to sell, as well as create scalable programs to support the growth of the business. The Specialist will work closely and build strong, trust-based relationships with the CAS, Marketing and Program Management teams.

What you'll do:

  • Form collaborative relationships with key business partners including CAS Sales Managers and CSEs, Program Managers, Marketing, Database Marketing and Sales Learning and Development to ensure Conference Sales Enablement resources are effectively deployed and leveraged.
  • Implement strategies to improve CSE preparedness and effectiveness in driving conference attendee sales.
  • Maintain or enhance CBC (Conference by Conference) sales enablement assets including content curation, design, delivery, and ongoing support.
  • Create and deploy new materials including sales playbooks, presentations, training videos and seller success guides.
  • Execute day-to-day, tactical elements of sales enablement programs, including briefings and selling resources.
  • Manage and curate the sales enablement content repository on Gartner's Inside Gartner platform, ensuring all information is easily and readily available to sales reps according to the selling scenario they encounter
  • Understand key trends in content and education and work with subject matter experts to identify new Enablement approaches that will help drive sales productivity
  • Support the evolution and implementation of Gartner's Pathway to Gold sales approach.
  • Evaluate effectiveness and propose adjustments to content to improve performance and ensure objectives are met
  • Manage all assigned programs and projects.
  • Assist with the tracking of key success metrics and adoption of sales enablement assets, processes, or tools to show return on investment (ROI) and overall impact on the business. Optimize work product to keep current and useful

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years sales enablement, internal communications, marketing, or sales
  • Excellent program management, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Strong organizational, task, and time management skills
  • Must have strong people/verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to research, analyze and consolidate complex content into cohesive, clear, straightforward messaging
  • Ability to understand the effectiveness of initiatives and activities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with numerous projects, deadlines, and stakeholders
  • Innovative, creative, curious mindset; willing to learn about, experiment with and champion new media and channels
  • Ability to develop credibility with sales managers and supporting BUs to become a trusted advisor and business partner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 87,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
