ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

This job will report to the Senior Manager of Business Banking Strategy & Operation Support and will be responsible for managing strategic initiatives for the line of business. This role will focus on digital experiences and own creating alignment between the line of business and cross-functional partners. This role will work as part of a team responsible for Business Banking strategy and eliminating friction from client and employee experiences. This role will lead the planning and prioritization for current and future digital capabilities, in partnership with Commercial Servicing and Onboarding, Business Risk, Product, and Marketing. This is a high exposure role that requires expertise in building relationships and executive reporting. A strategic thinker who is adept and aligning matrixed teams will be most successful in this role.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Assignments with this role will vary based on current areas of focus and Business Banking projects in flight, including but not limited to the following:

  • Develops executive-level communications to create awareness and engagement about major strategic initiatives for the line of business, managing tracking and communication of progress against business goals.
  • Executes on strategic plans and is accountable for the pertinent aspects of assigned initiatives as it relates to the acquisition, deepening and retention of clients, field support and or innovation initiatives
  • Collaborates and partners closely with support partners and other areas of expertise to develop hypotheses and programs for execution.
  • Recommends opportunities for revenue growth and ensures alignment with all client segments.
  • Ensures initiatives are executed according to on time and quality delivery requirements
  • Coordinates client treatment scenarios as needed to support initiatives
  • Successfully drives implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Reviews progress, decisions, and unusual situations with senior management
  • Keeps up to date on industry best practices
  • Drives cross-functional implementation teams including but not limited to internal team members, support partners, and vendors to ensure successful execution of complex medium to large-scale initiatives
  • Drives execution by effectively managing priorities, pace, scope, quality, cost, and risk

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated multiple project management leadership skills; experience in organizing,

planning and executing large-scale, multi-functional projects from vision through implementation

  • Demonstrated analytical, process management and conceptual skills
  • Demonstrated ability to express complex concepts in terms that are understandable to the business

partners, senior leaders, and the sales force

  • Superior teamwork and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all management levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with support partners and influence a geographically diverse

sales teams

  • Superior knowledgeable of financial products, e.g. deposit & credit products, investments, etc.

Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; beginning to develop ability to organize information in clear, consistent format; Capacity to develop ability to articulate a clear, well-thought out message and formal delivery; Minimal skills in creating PowerPoint presentations

Planning: Accurately scopes out length and difficulty of tasks and projects; sets objectives and goals; breaks down work into the process steps; develops schedules and task/people assignments; anticipates and adjusts for problems and roadblocks; measures performance again goals; evaluates results.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $85,000 to $112,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
