As the Director of Technical Product Management, you will join our Enterprise Product Management & Adoption team, which is responsible for strategic projects to establish a new HCM, Financials, Procurement, and Payroll SaaS solution while providing operational support across our PeopleSoft platform (HCM and FSCM). In this role, you will drive the selection and implementation of a new SaaS platform to fully replace PeopleSoft, partnering with business leadership to execute this strategic initiative. You will lead the technology team to implement the selected HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Procurement SaaS solution, fostering collaboration across business stakeholders and the implementation partner. Additionally, you will ensure that operational activities continue seamlessly with the PeopleSoft team, meeting KPI targets and guiding strong SDLC processes. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding leadership skills, profound knowledge of leading industry platforms for both HCM and Financials, and expert knowledge of SDLC methodology related to ERP. You will oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and ongoing management of the organization's ERP system, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, improves operational efficiency, and supports company growth. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.

This position can work remotely from any location in the United States.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Direct a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life.
  • Develop and execute the ERP strategy to align with business goals.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of ERP solutions, including Workday and Oracle Fusion Cloud products.
  • Oversee system upgrades, integrations, customizations, and operational support for ERP products.
  • Manage ERP implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and security.
  • Establish best practices, governance policies, and compliance measures.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure prompt resolution of system issues.
  • Create and maintain the product/vision roadmap.
  • Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost/profit control.
  • Promote the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
  • Complete people management functions, including goal setting, performance appraisals, P&L management, and budgeting.
  • Build and manage a high-performing ERP team.
  • Train and support end-users to maximize system effectiveness.
  • Work closely with finance, operations, HR, and IT teams to optimize workflows.
  • Ensure accurate data management, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Develop dashboards and insights to support decision-making.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or an additional 8 years in an IT related role in addition to the experience below.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a technical ERP role with leading industry-standard products such as Workday or Oracle Fusion Cloud that includes experience with ERP-related reporting.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or higher staff management role.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies and data migrations for at least two ERP implementations.
  • Experience in ERP management, implementation, and support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to make recommendations to improve process and procedure efficiency.
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for meetings, trainings, and professional conferences.
  • Business processes across finance, supply chain, HR, and operations.
  • System integrations and cloud-based ERP solutions.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience overseeing PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with Salesforce and ServiceNow.
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or ERP-specific certifications (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
