AWS Cloud Platform Architect

Your Impact:

You will function as part of a world class cloud data platform team working directly with clients across North America. This is a hands-on role, that will focus on data platform implementation across all areas of service engineering for Amazon Web Service (AWS) Elastic Kubernetes Service (including security, IAM, Lifecycle, observability, networking etc.)

As a Platform Architect Engineer, you will be a part of a cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients. You'll have the unique opportunity to increase engineering team productivity by reviewing, developing, and implementing resilient, secure cloud architectures, solutions, and products within some of the world's largest brands.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Amazon Web Service Certification - Architect Level
• Depth and experience with AWS services, EKS, ECR, EMR, RDS, Docker, S3, etc.
• Hands-on Python and Unix shell scripting is required.
• Years of experience with implementation of all areas of service engineering for EKS (including security, IAM, Lifecycle, observability, networking etc), which can include configurations, automations, pipelines and integrations with components within client environments.
• Experience in designing/implementing multi-tenancy/multi-cluster configuration, workload isolation, and operational visibility
• Hands-on depth and experience in Helm charts
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes infrastructure with Terraform Enterprise. Ability to write reusable Terraform modules.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, ELK and deploying applications on AWS.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and/or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) is a plus
• Experience using Docker within container orchestration platforms such as EKS/GKE.
• Knowledge of setting up Splunk
• Knowledge of Spark in AWS EKS/Google Kubernetes Engine
• Experience and knowledge of EMR
• Experience establishing connectivity and scaling elastically
• Experience with Apache Yunikorn - in EKS for scheduling
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio or Linkerd).
• Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems or related course of study required or equivalent work experience.
• Related master s degree a plus

The compensation range: $129,000-170,000. The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work.
