Accounting Customer & Product Support Specialist III will be joining our Finance/Accounts Receivable team that is responsible for responding to customers' inquiries regarding billing, invoicing, and account reconciliation. In this role, you will conduct reviews of unpaid invoices and respond to customers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate strives to facilitate long-term customer relationships and is comfortable using PeopleSoft FSCM and Excel regularly as well comparing large data sets from multiple systems.

This position will be hybrid requiring you to come into the office 1 time a week for team meetings and collaboration. You will need to attend Finance meetings allocated by your manager. The position will be filled to work out of one of the following Jack Henry office locations: Lenexa, KS/ Monett, MO / Springfield, MO and or Allen, TX

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Help build and maintain close working relationships with accounting customer staff and management in order to ensure the long-term viability of the customer relationship related to their billing.
  • Interact with internal and external customers by answering calls and researching questions pertaining to accounts receivable.
  • Resolve past due balance and disputed balances with customers.
  • Adjust customers' accounts receivable records.
  • Help track identified issues. Assist with research and resolution of reported billing issues.
  • Investigate and research delinquent and escalated accounts.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working within a financial institution.
  • Experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • Experience in a customer-facing position.
  • Intermediate experience utilizing MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects.
  • Ability to support the accounts receivable phone-que 1 day a week from 8-5pm CST.
  • Must be able to work the standard core hours of this position: 9am-3pm CST.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

  • Strong knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of credit management as it applies to the organization.
