We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Platform and Azure Intern to join our team for a 10-week internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Fabric, focusing on security, cost optimization, and documentation. You will work alongside our BI developers, data engineers, and analysts to support critical tasks such as Azure security audits, cost analysis, Fabric security assessments, and documentation review. This internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about cloud technologies, data security, and optimizing data platforms for efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities: *Perform a comprehensive review and optimization of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) permissions across our Azure subscription to ensure alignment with least privilege principles and industry best practices *Review Microsoft recommended best practices for Azure resources *Collaborate with the team to implement security improvements. *Analyze usage and costs across Azure services to identify opportunities for optimization. *Consolidate Azure recommendations to reduce cloud spending *Document findings and provide recommendations for enhancing Fabric security. *Review and update existing documentation for Azure and Fabric workflows, processes, and best practices.
