Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend solutions to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall business performance. The role requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and IT teams, to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable requirements.
• Analyze and map current business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and recommend solutions that meet business requirements and align with overall organizational goals.
• Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories to ensure clear understanding and communication across teams.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to support decision-making. Provide regular reports and dashboards to monitor business performance and recommend improvements.
• Assist in the creation of test plans and perform testing to ensure that systems and processes meet business requirements and function as intended.
• Support the change management process, including user training, documentation updates, and post-implementation reviews.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and recommend process or system enhancements to support business growth and operational efficiency.

*Position is contingent upon Spring 2025 contract award*

• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
• BA/BS and 5+ years of experience; Masters and 3+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, with experience using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile).
