What you'll do

• Decontaminates and prepares items following departmental standards and equipment guidelines.
• Prepares items for sterilization using correct procedures, indicators, and labels.
• Operates and maintains sterilizers, ensuring proper function and reporting maintenance issues.
• Assembles and prepares case carts efficiently and independently.
• Handles and organizes surgical trays, instruments, and drills for proper assembly.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, identifying and addressing safety hazards.

Background/experience

• Must hold either a current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification OR a current Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician(CSPDT) certification.
