Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Program Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as our DHS Program's primary POC and provide overall leadership and guidance for all Peraton relationships aligned with the largest program at Peraton. The ideal candidate is ultimately responsible for the growth and maturity of client relationships within the program, to include both technical and business growth and consultative processes. This Program Director is directly responsible for the growth and relationships with our clients in the program and Business unit. This role should leverage prior senior government official's expertise in human capital design to improve government efficiencies across budgetary, training, investigative, hiring (and sustainment) and regulatory portfolios. The ideal candidate will work in our Northern Virginia location.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    Leads growth and relationship: financial, technical, administrative and personnel program activities (including monthly PMRs) to meet all contractual obligations in adherence to the DHS's processes, procedures, and directives
  • Serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for program leadership regarding client relationships and growth
  • Provides technical and financial progress reports to contractor and customer program leadership and participates in steering committee meetings and Government leadership presentations
  • Oversees cross-project planning for resources, scheduling milestones, and deliverables for on-time submission of contract deliverables
  • Identifies, assesses, and resolves complex business issues and risk and facilities resolution and risk mitigation


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years' experience IT and Government
  • Master's degree in any discipline, or prorated with BS degree and additional experience in domain
  • 12 years of experience managing enterprise-level Infrastructure Programs with similar scope and complexity
  • 12 years of experience managing DOD/DHS or Federal LEO related programs
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams of professionals supporting a large enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with customer senior leadership
  • Must have strong Familiarity with IT security requirements
  • PMI PMP certification or ability to obtain
  • ITIL4 Foundation to align with the latest version or ability to obtain
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have an active TS clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience as a senior government official with expertise in human capital design, budgetary oversight, training, investigative processes, hiring and regulatory portfolios.
  • Proven experience in crisis management & communications through self-authored organizational risk mitigation strategies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in any discipline, preferably in Computer Science or IT management
  • Certified TBM Executive (CTBME)
  • Expertise in public safety, regulatory matters, FOIA & Privacy Act governance, and information technology solutions including AI
  • Experience directing governmental affairs, legislative response management, and mission-related inquiries from Congress, DOJ, and the White House
  • Experience leading strategic problem solvers to address complex mission challenges, developing innovative risk-management models, and modernizing threat environment analysis
  • Active PMI/PMP, ITIL4 and Security certification aligned to DoD 8570 standard

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
