Overview Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician who can work on both classified and unclassified machines in a highly secure area. You will work with a team comprised of End User Support Techs doing both Windows and Linux work, System Administrators, Certified Project Managers and Cyber Security personnel. There is potential to learn other areas outside of desktop support. You will work on a variety of customer programs and will need to be eligible to hold an SCI clearance which may require a polygraph. A Security+ certification is required within 6 months of hire and will be paid for by the company. Responsibilities
Provide both classified and unclassified Windows and Linux support to our customer base. They should have a strong customer service ethic and experience with Desktop System Administration. They should have the ability to translate technical terms into layperson terms and present them to audiences outside of the organization. The selected candidate must be willing to take and pass a polygraph if selected for random testing.
