Supervises and manages the Vehicle Operations Logistics group. Provides guidance and instruction for coordination of the flow of vehicles between the point of origin and

the point of consumption in order to meet requirements of clients in support of the business. operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to Vehicle Operations Logistics team members.
  • Supervises and directs the work of assigned team members by determining work procedures, expediting workflow, assigning duties and examining work for accuracy and conformance to policies and procedures.
  • Contacts customers to determine vehicle availability and condition.
  • Schedules vehicle pick-up and delivery with customers and appropriate transporter.
  • Reconciles any transporter related issues that may arise
  • Notifies Customer Account Representatives and transporter of any relevant vehicle transportation related issues.
  • Monitors and reports on customer compliance and transporter performance.
  • Engages with auction, dealer, third-party service providers and other stakeholders, proactively generating leads for potential future business and converting leads into customers.
  • Compiles vehicle transportation related data and generates reports.
  • Follows all job-related safety and health procedures, models safe behaviors and instills team with a positive attitude toward safety.


Qualifications

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 3 years' experience in a related field; a master's degree and 1 year of experience; or a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience
  • Excellent skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization


Preferred

  • Degree in related discipline strongly desired
  • Experience in industry desired


USD 65,100.00 - 97,700.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $65,100.00 - $97,700.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:
