Work Schedule: This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. No weekends or holidays. You will work at 451 Junction Road and 4621 Eastpark Blvd in Madison, WI. UW Health specialists in rheumatology provide a multidisciplinary team approach to managing rheumatic and immunological diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Outpatient Rheumatology to:
At UW Health, you will have:
Education: Minimum - If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program. Work Experience: Preferred - Two years of APP ambulatory experience. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family; Gerontology. If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification. All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
