This job involves serving as a senior leader with oversight of various aspects of a department, including its education and research missions. The role includes acting as a liaison to health systems across Minnesota with which the department holds contracts. Additionally, the position requires being a visible thought leader for both staff and physicians, ensuring collaboration, strategic direction, and operational excellence. Budgetary/Financial (30%)
Manage Department Leaders and Staff (20%)
Strategic partner to external relationships including Regions, HealthPartners, TRIA, Methodist, Park Nicollet, and CentraCare. (15%)
Act as an advisor to the Chair (10%)
Strategic partner for department operations and engaging Chair as needed (10%)
Partner with the Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service Line (10%)
Facilitate effective decision-making (5%)
