Your new role

As our new Data Scientist, you will work closely with our water and data experts to support innovation and digital transformation. You will be part of a team that assists our clients with data analysis and visualization, creating custom data workflows, building interactive dashboards, and developing bespoke applications for solving practical problems. This role includes opportunities to work closely with clients and project teams, presenting deliverables and gathering feedback .

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and dataflows to provide actionable insights.
  • Design new Power BI data models as well as maintain existing data models built from a variety of data sources.
  • Manage data gateways to ensure secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
  • Build custom measures and queries using DAX and M language.

Your new team

You will be part of our growing Digital Team in Water Resources, filled with people who are excited about digital transformation in the water industry. You will collaborate with a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists to deliver smart, data-driven water projects. A successful Data Scientist can work independently, thrive in a team environment, and be a technical resource for project managers and staff. Data management, report development, and data analysis are frequent needs. This role includes opportunities to present your findings directly to clients and project teams. You may also play a role in strategically refining existing reports and dashboards, having the opportunity to suggest additional practical and beneficial uses

These include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience using Power BI and Power Platform.
  • DAX and M programming experience within Power BI.
  • Experience working with Power BI dataflows.
  • SQL and Python experience.
