This position is required to grow top-line sales at assigned Lowes stores within geographic territory through implementing sales/marketing programs, training activities, and service and merchandising responsibilities. The store count will range based on geography and store volume. Store count ranges between 3-5 stores, average territory contains 4 stores.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.

Este puesto debe aumentar las ventas de primera linea en la tienda Lowes asignada mediante la implementacion de programas de ventas/marketing, actividades de formacion, responsabilidades de servicio y comercializacion. El representante de servicios de venta de tiempo parcial respaldara una tienda Lowes en un mercado determinado.

  1. Sales

    • Establish strong selling relationships with store associates, store management, and other district managers
    • Continually promote and represent the brand and product strengths to Lowes associates, customers/contractors discerning competitive advantage and competitor's weaknesses.
    • Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits. SSR will also gather and document competitor intelligence information in the CRM.
    • Conduct contractor events to promote products and to increase sales
    • Ensuring promotions, pricing & signage are set appropriately in each store.
    • Prepare Annual Grow Plan (AGP) for assigned stores in territory that meet or exceed sales & profit goals.

  2. Training

    • Conduct product knowledge (PK) training sessions for current and newly hired Lowes associates. Training should include features, benefits as well as selling skills and may include a demo of the products. Products include (Valspar, HGTV Home by Sherwin Williams, Purdy, Minwax, Cabot, Thompson's Waterseal, White Lightning, DIY Paint, Contractor Paint).
    • Conduct sales training for current and newly hired Lowes associates.
    • Promotional Display training to Lowes associates.
    • Training on how to conduct a "color conversation" with customers.
    • Train store associates on equipment. i.e. tinting machines

  3. Service

    • Respond to and resolve product/service/inventory issues at the store level.
    • Assist store associates with tinting/mixing paint as needed.
    • Department review of all SW products. Review all products on the shelf to ensure products are fully stocked and properly displayed. Replace defective products (dents, labels, etc...)
    • Make sales calls, as requested by Lowe's, to residential repainters, remodlers, property maintenance managers & local home builders (approximately 10% of the weekly time) to increase the pro-paint sales.

  4. Merchandising / Color Collateral / Displays

    • Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, color chip, and color card stock.
    • Ordering inventory of collateral to ensure inventory is stocked.

  5. Misc. Responsibilities

    • P&L review & management. Review consists of expense management, mis-tint expense tracking, collateral expenses & T&E.
    • Assist other Sales Service Reps as needed
    • Attended required conference calls
    • Attend local and non-local trainings as required (i.e. Sales Excellence)
    • Attend National Sales Meeting(s)
    • Complete required paperwork/reports in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to mileage tracking, expense reporting, etc...





  1. Ventas

    • Establecer relaciones de ventas solidas con los asociados de la tienda y la gerencia de la tienda.
    • Promover y representar continuamente las fortalezas de la marca y del producto a los asociados de Lowes, clientes/contratistas, destacando la ventaja competitiva y las debilidades de la competencia.

  2. Formacion

    • Llevar a cabo sesiones de formacion sobre conocimiento del producto (product knowledge, PK) para asociados actuales y recien contratados de Lowes. La formacion debe incluir caracteristicas, beneficios y habilidades de venta, y puede incluir una demostracion de los productos. Los productos incluyen Valspar, HGTV Home de Sherwin Williams, Purdy, Minwax, Cabot, Thompson's Waterseal, White Lightning, pintura DIY y pintura para contratistas.
    • Realizar formacion de ventas a los asociados actuales y recien contratados de Lowes a traves de acompanamiento en actividades de venta.
    • Formacion en exhibicion promocional para asociados de Lowes.
    • Formacion sobre como llevar a cabo una "conversacion de color" con los clientes.
    • Formar al asociado de la tienda sobre el equipo, es decir, maquinas para tenir, segun sea necesario.

  3. Servicio

    • Ayudar a los asociados de la tienda con el tinte/la mezcla de pintura segun sea necesario.

  4. Comercializacion / Colateral de color / Pantallas

    • Mantener los letreros de la tienda, los exhibidores de comercializacion, las existencias de muestras de colores y tarjetas de colores.

  5. Responsabilidades variadas

    • Ayudar a otros representantes de servicio de ventas segun sea necesario.
    • Asistir a las llamadas en conferencia requeridas.
    • Asistir a formaciones locales y no locales segun sea necesario (es decir, Excelencia en ventas).
    • Completar los documentos/informes requeridos de manera oportuna. Esto incluye, entre otros, registro de horas, llamadas de ventas, informes de gastos, etc.



FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:



  • HS Diploma, Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Related field (i.e. Sales, Business Management, Marketing, etc.)


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:



  • 1+ year previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing or other Business related field.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule. This includes evenings and weekends with up to 9 Saturdays per year.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Strong Organizational & Communication skills


Preferred:



  • Ability to communicate in Spanish
  • Conducting presentations to groups of employees
  • Experience in sales, customer service, or merchandising
  • Ability to work independently
  • P&L / Budget Management


TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:



  • Must have the ability to learn to operate the in-store tinting machines
  • Must be able to operate an iPhone & computer


Preferred:



  • Previous paint/coatings experience


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:



  • 50% or more



EDUCACION FORMAL:

Obligatorio:

  • Capacidad para comunicarse en espanol.
  • Solidas habilidades organizativas y de comunicacion.
  • Experiencia previa en entornos centrados en equipos, incluidos equipos deportivos, actividades extracurriculares, experiencia militar, experiencia laboral, etc.
  • Funciones de liderazgo en actividades/organizaciones extracurriculares.
  • Capacidad demostrada para gestionar multiples prioridades.
  • Experiencia en la realizacion de presentaciones a grupos de empleados.


REQUISITOS TECNICOS/DE HABILIDADES:
