The Educational Program Evaluation Coordinator will perform data analysis and create reports and dashboards for leadership in the College of Engineering and beyond. Duties include preparing a variety of regular as well as ad-hoc reports and dashboards, and automating current data extraction and data cleaning processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the gathering and verification of institutional data related to student applications, enrollment and completion, including historical comparison
  • Compilation, cleaning, and testing of large data files for reporting and analysis. Compiles data from multiple sources and systems; merges student records across data sources.
  • Ensures the accuracy of data collected, including identifying anomalies that require resolution prior to analysis and reporting.
  • Completing higher education reports for the College of Engineering in compliance with mandated deadlines
  • Assisting academic departments in data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with data owners/data stewards to facilitate the appropriate use of the data; including university census data used for reporting
  • Supporting and assisting with the ABET, ISBE and US News reporting and providing institutional data for grant applications within the College
  • Designing and preparing analysis and reports for internal users
  • Access and extract data from data warehouses and other data sources using tools such as Eddie, Tableau, Access and/or SQL browsers
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and generate reports and visualizations utilizing tools such as Excel, Eddie, Web Intelligence and Tableau
  • Compilation, cleaning, and testing of large data files for reporting and analysis. Compiles data from multiple sources and systems; merges student records across data sources.
  • Serve on and support efforts of college committees, task forces, and work groups.
  • Support with operational needs such as website updates and other duties as assigned.
  • Work within a team environment, be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate ability and desire to acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications Required:

    1. Bachelor degree in an educational or related field with a minimum of two courses in statistics.
    2. Two (2) years (24 months) of educational and/or other research experience.
