As an HCM System Specialist you will provide support and troubleshoot SAP SuccessFactors suite and Docebo LMS systems, assisting employees and managers with navigating the system and serve as a primary point of contact to address or route SAP HCM issues as well as analyze the types of questions and issues coming in and leverage those to create training content supporting business needs, identify system enhancements needed, and make recommendations on optional releases to implement twice/year. The role will also be responsible for managing the learning management system (LMS) training program logistics, and administrative processes. The role partners with the talent management team, vendors, business leaders and learners across the organization to ensure the successful deployment of training while providing best in class participant experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide HCM System Support



  • Triage all requests that come through Samanage for HCM related support. This will include all modules connected to the HCM (list may not be all-inclusive): Employee Central, Workforce Software, Recruiting Management, Recruiting Marketing, Performance and Goals, Succession Planning, Onboarding, Compensation and Variable Pay, Career Development Planning, Reporting, Fieldglass, Learning, and ADP.
  • Answer questions, troubleshoot issues, make system adjustments as needed to resolve problems users encounter. Leverage library of job aids and training materials to help with training related gaps.
  • Forward higher-level issues to the SME/module owner depending on the module impacted.
  • Support will include assisting all Family of Companies users across the US, Canada, Mexico, and China.
  • Open tickets with SAP for system issues that can't be resolved internally or through the AMS


LMS



  • Configuration: Responsible for configuring courses, user permissions, user roles, learning paths, and training materials.
  • Reporting: Create custom reports for organizational leadership and stakeholders. Design and analyze reports that identify the training program's effectiveness. Maintain accurate LMS records.
  • Certifications/Compliance Training: Set up certification and compliance training process, manage user progress and issue certifications.
  • Gamification/Badges: Responsible for creating badges and gamification, creating rules for awarding certifications, designing the process and issue the badges and certificates.
  • System Documentation: Responsible for maintaining system documentation, user manuals, processes, configurations, course structures, job aids and security.
  • User Support: Provide Tier I (reset passwords, update user permissions, reset deadlines etc.) and Tier II (solving of more complex user and system issues that require a deep understanding of functionality).
  • Training Schedules: Maintain training schedules for EHS, IT, New Hire, Ryerson Academy, etc. so there is greater visibility to all training required each month.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree - Associate or bachelor's degree in business, IT, or Learning or 5+ years equivalent direct work experience
  • Experience in a senior administrative support, system management or project management related role
  • Experience managing an HCM or components of an HCM
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects - establish timelines and hold project contributors accountable. Ability to seemingly unconnected activities and streamline them into a coherent plan
  • Attention to detail critical; well-developed interpersonal skills; strong organization skills; ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of various HR processes and system programming to be able to help users (SAP experience preferred)



Salary: $58,352-$72,940 annually. A starting salary higher than $58,352 annually is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
