No Position Description Come join our team at Jefferson Lab, where great minds matter Manages the Jefferson Lab Radiation Control (RadCon) Program. Leads the development and implementation of health physics and radiation protection programs, processes, and systems to protect the radiological health and safety of workers, members of the public, and the environment. This program is critical to the mission of Jefferson Lab. As the manager, you will lead a team responsible for executing a radiological control program that is compliant with 10 CFR 835 and supports the scientific mission of the Lab. The program components include identification of radiological hazards, implementation of mitigation measures, radiation shielding design, and assessment of safety systems. You will lead and manage the Radiological Control Department, create and administer the department budget, and assess staff performance, including applying supervisory and mentoring skills in staff development.
