Director of Outpatient Services

The Director of Outpatient Services performs a multitude of functions related to social services and business management of the Intensive Outpatient Programs, Partial Hospitalization Programs and contract services provided outside the facility. These include assuring staff performs their respective duties in an efficient and therapeutic manner. The goal is to assure that staff provide services to all outpatient patients so that patient needs are met from a biopsychosocial standpoint. The director also assures that the general day-to-day functions of outpatient programming are met. The Director of Outpatient Services is accountable for leadership, strategic planning and successful program development.

Director of Outpatient Services Education/Requirements:

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• The Director of Outpatient Services requires at least (5) years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in individual, family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills.
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations as well as knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and MCO's is helpful.
• License: Kentucky state licensure as a LCSW, LPCC or LMFT; LCADC certification a plus.
