Purpose of Job: The Vice President, Employer Sales will be responsible for driving growth in our Employer business. This role requires an understanding of the healthcare and financial services and a proven track record in sales leadership. Success in this role requires an understanding of the competitive landscape and the ability to formulate a winning go-to-market strategy across a range of related products and services. This position is also an important executive point of contact for key strategic employer clients. This position is charged with hiring, motivating and retaining a top-performing sales organization, including developing and executing strategic plans to achieve industry-leading growth. The VP, Employer Sales is accountable for the Employer portfolio working directly with customers and internal and external partners to deliver on customer commitments. Where appropriate, the VP, Employer Sales will work with team members across both Optum and UnitedHealthcare to align on customer plans and priorities. *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $280,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
