Job Summary:

The HVAC Parts Processor and Materials Handler is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate processing of customer parts requests.

This role involves taking incoming customer calls, processing orders, picking requested parts from the warehouse, and preparing them for shipment.

The position plays a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and precise delivery of HVAC parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Interaction:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers promptly and professionally.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and build strong relationships.

2. Order Processing:

  • Process customer parts requests accurately in the system.
  • Verify orders for completeness and accuracy before fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address special or expedited requests.

3. Warehouse Operations:

  • Pick parts from the warehouse based on customer orders.
  • Ensure proper handling of parts to maintain quality and prevent damage.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.

4. Shipping and Logistics:

  • Package parts securely for shipping, ensuring compliance with company and carrier standards.
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
  • Coordinate with shipping providers to ensure timely delivery.

5. Inventory Management:

  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Report low stock or discrepancies to the inventory management team.
  • Assist in receiving and stocking new inventory as needed.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of processed orders and shipments.
  • Generate reports on order processing and inventory management activities as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, customer service, or HVAC parts handling role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC parts and systems is a strong advantage.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and inventory management.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with order processing software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
