Production Associate

Scope:

Perform duties to process or prepare any range of components or subassemblies, where work is repetitive with some change in products, parts, components, dimension and configuration, working within the limits of prescribed routines and making minor decisions.

Essential Element:

• Promote and support ALL MPS objectives, including 5S and Continuous Improvement.
• Promote a positive work environment at all times.

Essential Duties:

• Work from production work order, check lists, prints, instructions, procedures, and similar documentation.
• Evaluate assembly drawings, bills of material, or prints to ensure that required materials meet specifications and are available for all steps of assembling and fabricating parts and units. Visually inspect parts provided for obvious defects. Communicate any discrepancies to Production Lead.
• Fit, align, and adjust parts on any production line as assigned, in accordance with prescribed processes to produce subassemblies for air movement equipment. Fit and insert pins, screws, springs and other connecting and holding devices. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other approved fasteners.
• Ensure proper operation of and free movement of finished products and make required adjustments following prescribed procedures. Measure finished components, subassemblies or units to ensure compliance with prescribed standards.
• Perform production work in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure the work area is kept clean and orderly.

Other Duties:

• Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements.
• Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Tools and Equipment:

Use hand and power tools, drills, rivet gun, saw, measuring devices, and other production tools.

Physical Demand:

To be provided when determined by company examination and analysis.
