VIP Travel Consultant (Remote)

Full-time, United States

The VIP Travel Consultant is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e., phone, email, etc.).

You will fulfill clientele travel-related requests in airline ticketing arrangements, hotel accommodations, and car rentals as well as group (such as music bands) and equipment movements to result in the desired price and service required by the client. Provides the highest level of customer service to this very demanding clientele.

This position performs at an expert/senior level and demonstrates an extensive understanding and applicability of all areas in the travel industry. You will work independently on requests. Takes the initiative to help team members and management as requested.

As aVIP Travel Consultant, you will

• Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Appropriately respondto and resolvecustomers' inquiries
• Consistently exceedindividual and team goals

About you

• Previousexperience in the global corporate travel management industry
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Advanced skills in travel industry systems (GDS Sabre)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem-resolution skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of VIP Travel Agent is between $50,000 and $60,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
